Jerk Patties

Ingredients serves 4

1/4 kg minced lamb
1/4 kg minced pork
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 bottle of BonPussy Jerk Sauce
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Shortcrust pastry. (Make your own for best results but frozen sheets are just fine)
Egg wash
Salt and pepper for seasoning

`Fry the mince and the onion untill well cooked. Add the Jerk Sauce, water and breadcrumbs. Allow to cool. Form the pastry into rounds with a cutter and form the patties from folded rounds. Use 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling in each pattie. Make sure you seal up the edges of the pastry by wetting the joining surfaces with water and then crimping the edge to seal the patties. Make a small hole in the top of each pattie. Brush the patties with milk and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a moderate oven for 20 mins or until golden and delicious. Egg wash the patties as they are removed from the oven. Bon app├ętit.
